Here at Parkwood Village we are big believers that everyone should be able to play golf, so we have enlisted the help of Ben Tullipan and Empower Golf to assist with our inclusive golf program.

Ben Tullipan, who miraculously survived the Bali Bombing terror attacks in 2002 despite suffering critical and life changing injuries has dedicated his time to providing those would not normally be able to enjoy a round of golf with an experience they will simply never forget.

Using an All terrain, specialised wheelchair called the Para Golfer, Ben assists disabled and severely injured people to enjoy time out in the fresh air and a round of golf with their friends and family.

Due to its low-pressure tyres and wide stance, the Para Golfer can be used on all areas of the golf course (including greens and appropriately designed bunkers) as well as on the driving range and practice areas. The ParaGolfer is regularly used by people with high level spinal cord injuries, but can also be used by anyone with mobility or stability issues.
